“We had the best experience with Russell DJ. From the very beginning he was so responsive and attentive, really listening to all of our song requests and making sure everything was just right. On the night he read the room perfectly, kept the dance floor full, and was super flexible with our guests’ requests. The extra lighting he supplied really elevated the atmosphere too. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding, highly recommend! The vibes kept on peaking!”

“Literally the best possible DJ we could have asked for. We’re an alternative couple who lored so well to us and our guests that it was jaw dropping. Our friends included folks who are into EDM, R’n’B and Garage and a lot of our friends and family are much older and prefer Soul, 80’s and Motown, a tall order for any DJ and yet EVERY GENRE WAS COVERED. The dance floor was full for the entire evening with banger after banger being taianaged to play a tonne of tracks that would have been obscure at other weddings, but were pitched perfectly for us. Afterwards, pretty much everyone who we spoke to commented on how amazing the DJ was. We literally cannot recommend him enough, an absolute master of his craft and an extremely nice, pleasant and easy fellar to work with.”

“We booked A Russell DJ at quite short notice for our delayed Covid wedding celebrations and my god did we get bloody lucky!! Communication was fab, he nailed everything we asked for and was super flexible on the night. Ali’s set up is modern and sleek and we had so many compliments on how fabulous the music was all evening. We truly had the best party and I put that mostly down to Ali ?? I would book again in a heartbeat and actually might find a reason to throw another party just to experience the night all over again. Thanks so much, you are amazing! X”

“We hired A Russel DJ for our wedding and what a fantastic job he did! My wife and I don't have the most mainstream music taste, and I have a particular dislike of cheesy music, which could be a bit tricky for a wedding. Luckily for us, the majority of our guests had been to many gigs and festivals with us over the years, so we knew that by playing songs from those and similar bands, he'd be onto a winner. I even said "My favourite songs aren't necessarily the ones that'll get people dancing...", not too tough a gig, eh? On top of that, it was a really warm day and most guests preferred to be outside in the cool. We (literally) put our dancing shoes on and started the party, and people joined us. I lost count of the amount of times I gave him a nod when he played an absolute tune! He later admitted that he'd never heard of some of the bands I'd mentioned, but he absolutely smashed it. It just shows the level of planning and preparation he went to make sure we had a great night. We had some nice comments from the guests about the music, in particular one that said "Thank you for not playing the usual rubbish you hear at weddings"? He was even flexible to play an extra half an hour by request - something he really didn't have to do, but we were very grateful to be able to let our hair down and dance with the handful of remaining guests. As well as being well prepared and professional, he was super easy to deal with and came across really well, we'd totally recommend booking him for your event. Thanks very much!”

“A Russell DJ was absolutely amazing in the run up to the big day and on the night itself, being especially accommodating to our last minute decision to move to an outdoor reception. The dancefloor was packed and he created the best atmosphere with an incredible playlist that catered to all of our guests (it was quite a mix of people!) We cannot thank you enough for the huge part Alistair played in our special day!”

“Absolutely would recommend! Reliable, Friendly and tunes! Was quite picky when it came to picking a DJ for a surprise 50th knowing the variety people/ages that were coming but Alistair nailed it! Had so many comments asking who the DJ was (even the bar staff) genuinely thinking of having a random party just to book again, Thank you so much.”

He kept the dance floor filled all night... and he really went the extra mile leading up to the wedding with song requests extra lights etc... planning a wedding is stressful and as far as wedding suppliers go Alistair is a dream to deal will, really there for your every need!
