“We were very pleased to find that Celtic Band were free to play at our wedding. There were many groups of people there who didn’t know each other, and a ceilidh was an ideal way of joining in and interacting with each other. Celtic Band played a good selection of scottish-type ceilidh numbers. Some people found the dancing in the first half a bit hard to follow – but in a way that added to the fun. Celtic Band did adjust their style in the second half to make it easier to follow. In all, they made a great contribution to everyone’s enjoyment of the night.”

“We hired Celtic Band to play for our wedding reception, and we are so glad that we did because they were, without a doubt, the highlight of our big day. Communication with Simon was professional and very friendly. All of the musicians played amazingly well and created such a fun, lively atmosphere. Andy, the caller, was fantastic. It was very impressive how well he managed the dancefloor and taught us all the steps to various dances. All of our guests LOVED the ceilidh. It was such a good way to get everyone up and dancing (even the relatives who never dance were participating!). Thank you so much Celtic Band for making our wedding such a special day.”

“Celtic Band were incredible for my 25th celebration Ceilidh! Simon was really quick at responding and arranged something for my budget so that I would have love musicians and a caller. My friends all threw themselves into it, ably guided, and though most of them had never been to a ceilidh before, all came away with glowing reviews. They were all kind, professional and had all the equipment needed, all I had to do was enjoy it! Highly recommend for any celebration, or just for a fun ceilidh for no occasion at all.”

A fabulous time was had by all on Friday night, there has been much chatter this week about it as well as parents writing in to thank for a wonderful evening. A huge thank you to you and the rest of the band, firstly for your patience, I’m sorry we overran with dinner which ate into our dancing time; but mainly for the fun-filled ceilidh. ”
