“After having seen Hipster at 2 friends weddings in the past 2 years we literally fixed the date of our wedding to fit in with Hipsters availability! We thought that the sound / music quality was fantastic and that they played exactly what we had wanted. They were great - really friendly and professional! We had asked for a few specific songs (and asked for a few to be left out) and these wishes were all accomodated seamlessly. Guests keep remarking on the band and how they were 'a proper band; not a wedding band' - this made us laugh but we knew the point they were trying to make! We absolutely loved the band as did our guests; with so many comments being made about how great they were. A fantastic finish to our wedding day; with a band that created just what we had wanted for our evening reception - a 'dancing' reception where our guests would always know were to find the bride and groom - on the dance floor!”

“Hipster is a band to have!! If you want a dance floor full of people, they did any song I wanted; I was dancing and turned round and said do you play Oasis and that was it, off they went playing that!! They are lovely bunch and so nice and polite and very proffessional. I had an amazing birthday and I didnt want them to stop!! They made my night and everybody loved them! I would recommend them to anyone even if I didn't know them!! I can't thank you enough for how amazing they were. I just hope I can find another party where I can have them again!!! Thank you ”

“I was a little nervous when booking Hipster for our wedding as I had not seen them and only listened to the recordings on Alive Network. However, Clare at Alive Network put me at ease from the beginning and then the band's manager contacted me in the run-up to the wedding to discuss playlists. On the day itself, the band were professional, polite and on time. They then proceeded to blow everyone away with their talent. The dancefloor was packed for the whole night and Hipster really made the day for me and my wife. Friends of ours are already looking to book them for their own weddings next year.”

“Alive Network and Hipster are a thoroughly professsinal outfit and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning a special event of any type. Hipster were a fantastic band who had our gusts rockin' for the whole evening. Our thanks go out to Alive Network and the Hipster who we extend our best wishes for the future. We'll be coming back to Alive Network should we have occassion and are currently thinking up an excuse to contact you again. “Richard, I just wanted to drop you a quick note to pass on my thanks to you and to Hipster, who I have to say were superb. They arrived on time, set up without any fuss and played fantastic music all night. They had everyone up from start to finish. Apart from anything else they were four really down to earth normal guys. I would certainly recommend then to anyone else and I would also be perfectly happy to act as a reference if needed. Thank you all once again for helping to make my wife's surprise 40th a night to remember. best regards Norman Lonergan”
