What a band! They really got the crowd going!

“We booked Hipster to play our wedding in July 2023. I’d had the pleasure of seeing them at an event some months earlier at which they had been able to fill the room with a big sound and great energy. We had a fusion wedding with two bands and Joe took all of the logistics out of my hands and liaised with the other band to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day. Hipster were even better than I’d remembered, they have a great repertoire of crowd pleasing songs and a fantastic sound to match. They really got the crowd going and had everyone on the dance floor by the end of the night. We have had so many compliments about the music since the wedding. I couldn’t recommend Hipster enough and just wish we could do it all again!”

“Hipster are honestly the best wedding band I’ve seen. They have a really great repertoire, with much more 50s/60s/70s/80s rock n roll than most other wedding bands. They absolutely smashed it at our wedding, and the guests kept calling for them to stay on stage. They brought an extremely good quality set up with them, and the sound was awesome. The keys and horns were also a great addition. They are also extremely nice people and were very lovely to deal with (both in the lead up and the day itself). We have guests asking for their contact details already!”

Communication was brilliant - we were able to chose the set list from their expansive repertoire, pick timings and even select songs for between sets. They worked really well with our venue and suppliers and made our day completely stress free! Not to mention how good they are at actually playing! Wow! They had everyone on the dance floor and played until the very last minute. Thank you!”

“We had Hipster perform to play 3 x 40 minute sets at our wedding. Hipster were very accommodating when we had issues with our caterer and we had to shift our music to start later in the evening. Despite some hangry guests, Hipster were awesome in getting everyone up and dancing and forget about late food. We would definitely recommend Hipster to anyone. ”
