Armed with an infectious energy, great musicianship and a varied setlist of songs from the 60s to the present day (including The Beatles, Harry Styles, Foo Fighters, Stevie Wonder, blink-182 and many more), they’ll turn any event into a real party!
Made up of professional graduates from the British and Irish Modern Music Institute and the University of Salford, Overdrive have a huge amount of musical experience between them – from featuring on nationwide Italian television and jamming with members of Nile Rodgers & Chic, to performing at Manchester’s iconic Band on the Wall and airplay on BBC Radio 1: they’ve done it all. You can be confident that you’re booking a high-quality, experienced group of musicians who truly love what they do – getting people up and dancing!

“We couldn't be happier with booking Overdrive for our wedding. They learned a cover version of a song for our first dance and absolutely nailed it. We won't forget our guests reaction to them kicking off the evening party in style. We had a lot of music hipsters and 2 drummers in the crowd and they loved it. Their set list was perfect for our wedding and we had a full dance floor all night. Our evening was so much fun and a huge part of that was because of the band. More importantly, they were really friendly and nice, which was commented on by quite a few people. From the first chat over the phone to when they arrived on site, they were a pleasure to deal with. They made repeated efforts to come up and chat and check everything was ok and even took the time to say good bye at the end of the night. If you want a fun and talented band for your wedding, we couldn't recommend them enough. Our one complaint, because of their performance we had to have the same conversation...”

“Overdrive were absolutely amazing for our wedding! We loved their songs on alivenetwork but i suppose you never really know how someone is going to be live! Despite it being the hottest day of the year, in a marquee that felt like 34 degrees and people wanting to be outside to try and cool down, they got the party rocking, got everyone dancing and sounded amazing!! We were so happy with them and their choice of songs and a plus, all four of them were super lovely, cool guys! They were very grateful for the refreshments and set up we sorted for them which was nice. There were a few timing issues with the food that ended up changing the schedule of the day and they just changed it to suit everyone without a fuss. Cannot fault them and we feel they were amazing value for money. Would 100% recommend!”
